Record-Setting 32 Scholar-Athletes Land NCCAA Honors

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- A record-setting 32 student-athletes from Maranatha have earned NCCAA Scholar-Athlete honors, as the spring scholar-athlete lists were recently released by the NCCAA.

To earn Scholar-Athlete status, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student making normal progress toward a degree while maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.40 on a 4.00 scale.

Men's Soccer topped the list with nine student-athletes, Softball had six, and Men's Cross Country was close behind with five. All three of these teams made Maranatha the most-represented school in the NCCAA DII for the respective sports.
