Mission: Fourpeat - Volleyball Regional Preview

WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Sabercats will begin their bid for a fourth consecutive NCCAA DII national title this weekend, and it will be anything but a walk in the park.

The Sabercats are seeded #2 in the NCCAA North Region Tournament, which will be held at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa. MBU will begin play at 12:00 p.m. Friday against #7 Oak Hills Christian College. The winner will play the winner of #3 Providence University College and #6 Trinity Bible College at 6:00 p.m. that same evening.

Providence and #1 Emmaus Bible College will be gunning for the Sabercats, who have a giant target on their backs as the three-time defending national champion. The Pilots and the Eagles have proven to be difficult to beat in recent seasons, and this year is slated to be no different.

Earlier this season, the Sabercats suffered a rare NCCAA regional loss to Emmaus, who hold the #1 seed in the tournament after earning the #2 seed last year.
