NCCAA All-Region Selections Announced

WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The 2018 NCCAA All-Region teams have were announced over the weekend. Ten student-athletes and one coach from Maranatha have been voted as the best in the region by the regional coaches.

Outstanding awards went to McKenzie Janke (North Region Libero of the Year), Alexis Sponable (North Region Most Valuable Player), and Coach Dave Anderson (North Region Coach of the Year).

Sponable's award represented the fifth consecutive year that a member of the Maranatha Women's Soccer team has earned Regional MVP. Janke's award represents the third consecutive year that a libero from MBU has earned the title.

Alison Hernandez earned an All-Region selection for the fourth straight year.

Each student-athlete that received a 1st Team selection is eligible for an All-American selection, which is decided by the coaches at the upcoming NCCAA DII national tournaments.
