WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Sabercats' Parents' Day parade was rained on by the Greenville University Panthers this afternoon, marking a torrid day for MBU in more ways than one.

Greenville, an NCCAA DI school out of Greenville, Illinois, took home a commanding 5-0 win over MBU, and the visitors were able to control the flow of the game for the most part.

Dani Pearce struck first for Greenville, and was backed up by Jade Taylor just a minute later. At the 15-minute mark, it was 2-0 for the visitors.

The score would stay the same until the second half, when Breanna Thomas scored a brace and Taylor added her second goal of the game. Greenville was polished from start to finish and held off the Sabercats' attack.

Hannah Anderson made a dozen saves in the loss.

The Sabercats will wrap up their abbreviated 2017 home schedule with a clash against Finlandia next Thursday at 3 p.m. Catch all the details at mbusabercats.com/composite
