OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Callie Morrison is on a tear, and the freshman has earned her second weekly honor from the AD3I in three weeks.
The rookie guard averaged 18.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.3 steals per game as the Sabercats extended their winning streak to six with three wins last week.
Morrison started the week with a double-double against Silver Lake, and she hit a career-high 23 points in the Sabercats' regional win over Emmaus Bible College. She finished the week with a 21-point showing against Martin Luther the very next day.
Morrison ranks second on the team in points per game this season (14.7) and leads the team in assists per game (4.7).
