Double Double-Double Double
WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Kelsey Johnson had two double-doubles last week, and after averaging over 16 points per game and shooting a clip of nearly 50 percent, the junior forward has earned the weekly honor from the NCCAA and the AD3I.
This marks the second time in the last three weeks that Johnson has earned the double, and it's the fourth consecutive week that a Maranatha student-athlete has received the AD3I award.
Johnson opened the week with a week-high 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting with seven rebounds against Rockford on February 11th. She then notched 15 points and 18 rebounds in a win over Lincoln Christian before finishing the week with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists at Mount Mary on Saturday.
The Sabercats now have a program-record nine consecutive wins and will look to finish the regular season with 10 straight victories when they host Mount Mary University tonight at 7:00 p.m.
