NCCAA All-Americans Announced

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The NCCAA has announced the basketball All-Americans for 2018-19, and Jonathan Book, Kelsey Johnson, and Callie Morrison have been voted by NCCAA coaches as some of the best student-athletes in the country.

Book and Morrison procured 2nd Team honors while Johnson was named to the 3rd Team.

The All-America committee selects five student-athletes to comprise each level of the All-America teams, so only 15 athletes from 36 schools (men) and 30 schools (women) make the final selections.

Jonathan Book is finishing his four-year career in style, as he sits at 900 career points, 478 career rebounds, and 331 career assists. This year, Book has amassed 308 points (12.8 per game) while contributing 5.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.

Callie Morrison has vaulted onto the collegiate basketball scene, as the rookie has averaged 15.4 points, 4.8 assists, and 5.0 rebounds per game. The freshman averaged 21 points per game at the NCCAA North Region Tournament, leading the Sabercats back to nationals.

Kelsey Johnson has been more than reliable all season long, averaging almost a double-double showing each game. Johnson averages 16 points and 9.7 rebounds per game and has reached 20 points eight different times this season.
