Setting things Straight

WATERTOWN, Wis. -- It ended in bitter disappointment for the Sabercats last year, as the team was denied what would have been their 11th NCCAA regional title in the last 13 years by the hard-working Eagles of Emmaus Bible College.

After the disappointing loss in last year's championship, Coach Clayton Morrison and the Sabercats are looking to set things straight, and to return to the top of the region and to the NCCAA DII National Championships - a title they took home in 2013 and 2014.

QUICK FACTS

This year's squad sees six players return - all six earned minutes in the regional championship game last year. In addition to the six returners, the Sabercats have rostered six newcomers
The Sabercats are slated for three home games in December before hosting 10 games in January and February combined
MBU will face four NCCAA regional opponents during the regular season and will take on 11 opponents from the NCAA DIII
The NCCAA DII North Region Tournament returns to Iowa, and it will be hosted by Emmaus Bible College (Feb. 21-23)
Coach Clayton Morrison returns for his 26th season and will be assisted by Coach Rob Thompson
