Six Seasons In

WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Maranatha Men's Volleyball is no longer considered the "new kid on the block", as the program begins its sixth season as a varsity program at the Rockford Tri next weekend.

The team recently welcomed Shawn Spencer to the head coach position (story), and with a fresh set of new faces ready to fill key vacancies, the 2023 season brings the potential for improvement.

The Sabercats begin the season with a triangular at Rockford University next Saturday before clashing with the best teams in the NCCAA at the 2023 NCCAA National Invitational. It will be the fifth straight year that the Sabercats have competed at the event, which is the longest tenure of anyone in the field.

Full details about the NCCAA National Invitational will be announced on Friday.
