LANSING, Mich. - On a day where everything seemed to go in for the Sabercats, MBU emerged with a decisive win over the Crusaders of Great Lakes Christian. At the end of the day, the Sabercats put 23 goals past the short-handed Crusaders.

- The Sabercats put five goals in in the opening 15 minutes, as precise crossing and finishing set the tone for the high-scoring day
- Wira Wama led the way in the early goings, as the Papua New Guinea native chalked up two goals and four assists
- The Sabercats had seven players score in the first half as they led 10-0 at the break.
- Steven Thompson began the scoring in the second half, as all five goals came in the second act for the Brighton, Illinois native
- Kevin Risma and John Zockoll finished their hat-tricks in the second half by adding to their first-half tallies
- Andrew Ice added three goals of his own to move his season tally to four goals.
