WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Sabercats got outplayed by Grace from the get-go on Thursday, losing the match 4-0 against the high-energy Tigers' offense.

Gabrielle Torres played her first game in a year in the loss.

STORY

The Sabercats held strong for the first 20 minutes of the game, even controlling the ball for quite a while and making several pushes toward the Grace box. But then the Tigers found their stride and they never looked back. They scored at the 25-minute mark and dropped 2 more before the horn, completely changing the outlook of the game.

After trailing 3-0 at halftime, Maranatha was able to hold the surging Tiger offense to only one goal in the second half, showing improvement and an effort to learn and adjust. Gabrielle Torres helped provide some energy as she checked into the game in the second half, the first time she had done so after a year-long injury.
