In recognition of his accomplishments on the field of competition as the Head Coach for the Maranatha Crusader Basketball and Baseball teams (1979-2004); and off the field as a Christian educator, mentor, and friend.
For his dedication to and love of Maranatha athletes and athletic competition.
As an outstanding intercollegiate coach in the formative years of Maranatha, Jerry exemplified the spirit, enthusiasm, dedication and work ethic that Maranatha Baptist Bible College desires to instill in all athletes. As a coach and Christian Educator, Coach “T” has influenced the lives of countless young men and women on the field of play and in the classroom, and they, in turn, have influenced the lives of countless others. Instilling these same character qualities into young people was the goal as Jerry ministered for the cause of Jesus Christ at Maranatha for 25 years.
Coach Terrill’s legacy and testimony both on and off the field of competition shall ever remain as a testament to the Lord Jesus Christ and to Maranatha Baptist Bible College Athletics.
