BIO

What emoji represents you?

"The cheese emoji, cuz I work at culvers, so cheese curd, and my name is Curtis, so curdis, cheese curd... (long explanation, hopefully you follow)."

Career plans/dreams/ideas?

"I hope to be a pastor of a church, or a youth leader sometime after I am done with school."

Who is somebody you admire, and why?

"I really look up to my pastor because he is always leading the church by example, and He encourages us to grow through his sermons, and it's always a blessing."

If you were an animal what would you be, and why?

"I would be a dog. You get to live at a random person's house rent-free and get taken care of while napping all day. What more could you want?"

Do you have any pregame or gameday rituals?

"On the way to every meet I watch Mr. Bean's version of 'chariots of fire' with whoever is in the van."

Complete this sentence: "Good leaders ________?"

"... serve with everyone in mind except themselves."

What attracts you to MBU?

"The atmosphere, the way that the teachers love all of us and do everything they can to pour into our lives and our academics."

NON-FRESHMAN: What's a great MBU memory on the field/court?

"I always love doing the cool down after the cross country meet with the team. We always run it together, nice and slow. Even though there are so many people who just ran the race at different speeds and different skill sets, it's just the reminder that we are still a team no matter what!."

NON-FRESHMAN: What's a great MBU memory off the field/court?

"I love doing things with the team. I would say my favorite memory off the court was the day before nationals, all of the guys' team, we went around to all of the guys' dorms to get all our teammates, then ran around the freezing cold quad barefoot. It was so cold, but it was a great team-building experience right before we went to compete at nationals."
