WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Ripon College Red Hawks outgunned and outmanned the Sabercats in Watertown today, winning 9-0 in a non-conference NCAA DIII matchup.

Finley Manning scored a hat-trick for the Red Hawks in a span of 11 minutes around halftime. Ripon scored four in the first half before adding five in the second.

STORY

It was mostly one-way traffic for the Red Hawks in the opening exchanges, as Ripon poured on the pressure to keep the Sabercats on edge. Jacob Openneer and Christian Manning scored the first two for the visitors, and Manning scored two before the break to make it 4-0 at halftime in favor of Ripon.

Manning completed his hat-trick just 44 seconds into the second half, leading the way for the visitors, who finished all of their scoring before the 70th minute to cap off the tidy win.

The Sabercats will quickly regroup before taking on Buena Vista University at home on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.
