2015: Battled an injury all season and peaked at just the right time: a time of 28:58.5 put Kruit into the Top 5 in the NCCAA DII at Nationals, and secured his spot on the All-American team... Kruit's time at Nationals was his best for the season... Kruit was named an AD3I All-Independent Honorable Mention.

2014: Kruit was an AD3I All-Independent Honorable Mention... Set his PR at NCCAA Nationals with a time of 28:29.6, which was good enough for an eighth-place finish... With the PR at Nationals, Kruit bested his previous time by 41 seconds.

"The ability to pause time and still move around while everyone else is frozen"

"Winning nationals my freshman year and the whole trip"

"I have that? I guess sleeping, or playing games...video or other"

Why MBU?

"I like the personal relationship you can have with the professors where they know your name and ask questions about your life. You know that they really care about you as a person, not just as a student in their class."
