2015-16: Debuted for the Sabercats by starting 13 games and playing in 15... Put up 6 points in her first game against Crossroads... Averaged 4.8 points per game and scored a season-high 13 points in a 55-42 win over Moody Bible.

Gameday Rituals?

"I take a nap. Sometimes it's 15 minutes, sometimes it's an hour, but I always take a nap."

Go-to gameday food?

"A little bit of pasta and peanut M&M's."

Career Plans?

"After graduating I plan to go to law school and eventually start my own law practice."

Why MBU?

"Going into college, I wanted to be challenged academically. MBU provides a stellar education with additional opportunities to become a well-rounded human being. I’ve been able to get involved in so many activities at Maranatha that would have never been possible at most other colleges. Most importantly, I’ve been able to forge life-long, God-honoring, edifying friendships with peers and professors alike."

Funniest teammate?

"Probably Trish"

Best part about this team?

"The opportunity to play the sport that I love one more time. I wasn’t able to play the last two years for several reasons, and I thought I would never play organized basketball again. Even though I knew it was the right decision, I missed the sport and I missed my team. But God has a way of giving us gifts that we didn’t even know we wanted, and this last season of basketball is definitely that kind of gift."

Best study spot on campus?

"The far corner of the basement in the library."

Favorite part about MBU outside of sports?

"Leadership opportunities, whether in the dorm, the music department, or societies."

Favorite Fac/Staff?

"Dr. Ledge – He expects excellence for the sake of glorifying God, not self. He pushed me to work harder and hone my skills so I could use them to worship God and minister to others. He is one of the most humble men I have ever met.

Mr. Kolwinska – He has taught me to balance my thinking between old and new ideas. He also has a way of gently showing me when I need to get my act together.

Dr. Saxon – He has an incredible ability to make the most complex ideas understandable without compromising their integrity. He also doesn’t stop at the abstract with theology; he makes things practical."

Best thing about your coach?

"His love for his players. Before coming to MBU, I never played for a coach that cared about me outside of my basketball abilities. I knew that Coach Mo cared about me as a person, not just a player from my very first practice. However, I understood the true extent of his love for people, especially his players, when he took interest in my life even when I wasn’t able to play basketball. He treated me the same whether I was injured, starting, or not even playing basketball."
