Sabercat Men Qualify Three for NCCAA Nationals
THE STORY
MEQUON, Wis. -- On the women's side, newcomer Sierra John paced the squad with a 27th-place time of 30:38, as the MBU squad bested Alverno to finish in eighth place. This was the team's first competitive action after beginning preseason almost four weeks ago.
Right behind John was Anna Heins, who came in at 31:07 (30th), and Madelyn Hansel, who registered a time of 31:17 and a 32nd-place finish. Joining these two veterans was Katie Jean Lingle, Alicyn Wigdal, and Ana Hersch, who rounded out the six-runner squad for MBU.

NCCAA NATIONALS
To qualify for the NCCAA National meet, runners must post a 5K split time of 24:30. The Sabercats' Women's Team will have to wait until another week to automatically qualify for the season finale.
