PLYMOUTH, Wis. --  The Sabercats fell short last night at Lakeland University where they were swept 3-0 by the Muskies.

Maranatha is still searching for their first win, which they hope will come this weekend at the North Park Tri.

OVERVIEW

STORY   

Maranatha came up short this week at Lakeland, getting swept in three straight sets. Once again, the Sabercats found themselves out of luck on the front line finishing with a combined total of 10 kills overall. On the other side, the Lakeland Muskies seemed to be doing just fine as they put down 41 kills on the night.

The Muskies were led by Hunter Henson who just seemed to be on fire. He finished with a .560 hitting percentage, seeing success with 17 of his 25 hitting attempts. 

While Lakeland dominated on the front line, the Sabercats held an advantage when it came to going behind the service line. The Muskies struggled to connect on their serves, giving up 21 points in errors, while Maranatha stayed consistent with only five errors in the service category. 

Maranatha was still unable to take advantage of the poor serving, and while these Muskie errors resulted in some close sets, they were still able to finish the Sabercats off in a clean sweep on the night. (11-25, 21-25, 19-25)

Zachary Mueller did a little bit of everything for the Sabercats in the match. He finished with eight digs and five assists, also contributing a kill.
