STORY

WEST ALLIS, Wis. -- Both teams found success today after multiple runners ran for their season-best times. In even bigger news, the Maranatha women clinched their spot at nationals after finishing with a total team time of 2:29:55.

Anna Morken finished with a time of 27:47, putting her at number 19 in Maranatha's Top 20 for 6K's. The women finished 10th out of the 17 competing teams, finishing with a score of 281 pts. Every girl on the team finished with their best time of the season. Wisconsin Track Club finished first on the women's side with 28 points. Dasha Vorontsov took home the gold with a time of 22:33.

For the men, David Cheloudtchenko once again crossed the line first for the Sabercats, coming in 77th with a season-best time of 30:47. Shem Abdnour, Andrew Centifanto, Blake Rumfordand Richard VanNewkirk all recorded their best times of the season as well. Overall, the men placed 13th out of 16 teams, with 372 points. MSOE finished first with 22 points. Their own Patrick Lee took the gold after crossing the finish line at a time of 26:21.
