STORY

Maranatha was limited to one hit in each of the two games, as Maddy Pfortmiller picked up her fourth win of the season for the Bucs. It was the seniors' second shutout and second one-hitter this season, as she pitched all five innings. Grace Massey was the only Sabercat to notch a hit, as she reached first base in the third off a single to short.

It was a 3-0 game until the bottom of the fourth inning, which was when Beloit came alive with five runs to put the Sabercats in the danger zone of an early ending to the game.

The second game started off with a three-run homer off the bat of Kit Kronberger, who notched her second home run of the day. That was the start of a 14-run spread for the Bucs, who posted nine runs in the third to cement their second win of the day. Cora Aubert was in the circle for Beloit in the second game, allowing one hit in her first win of the season. Massey once again recorded the hit, singling to left in the first inning for the Sabercats.
