STORY

The Muskies came out swinging, putting multiple shots on target in the opening 10 minutes. The breakthrough came at the 8:24 mark when Marlen Reyes scored her first goal of the season.

Megan Prigge tried to rally a response for Maranatha with a 60-yard run into the Lakeland penalty area, but Haley Rich - the Muskies' goalkeeper - slid in and snatched the ball to put an end to the attack. The Muskies' second came just under 30 minutes into the game, coming off a rebound from a cat-like save from Mallory Willette. Going into halftime, the Muskies had the lead and the momentum at 2-0.

The Muskies wasted no time in scoring once the second half kicked off. Jenna Caterino scored a spectacular shot from distance to finish the scoring just a minute into the second half.
