WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The 2022 season was a rebuilding year for the Sabercats Women's Soccer program, which welcomed 12 new faces to the squad to learn the game, learn Coach Jeff Pill's system, and learn college soccer as a whole.
The Sabercats managed two wins on the season - the first coming 5-0 at home against Mount Mary, and the second coming in the first round of the NCCAA North Region Tournament - a memorable end to the campaign for the 2022 team.

The win in the NCCAA North Region Tournament was the third consecutive year in which the Sabercats have won their first game at regionals. The winner came from Chelsea Graham, who touched in her first collegiate goal in the first half for a crucial 1-0 win over North Central.

FROM COACH PILL
"It is no small feat to put yourself in a position where your inexperience will be exposed," said Head Coach Jeff Pill. "To do so in a very public context takes bravery and a willingness to put your ego aside. I have a tremendous amount of respect for many of the members of this year’s team as they were willing to do this. As a result, many of them achieved at levels that perhaps they did not even dream about.
"These women were not only courageous but also a true pleasure to be with. Their positivity and genuine care for the team made each day something to look forward to."
OVERVIEW
