Mid-Season Form

WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Sabercats are in peak mid-season form, and on a Saturday night at home, there was just no stopping them.

Three Sabercats were in double digits as the Sabercats flew past Free Lutheran Bible College by a score of 70-33.

STORY

Once again, Coach Clayton Morrison deployed a new starting lineup, as Katelyn Morrison and Regina Anderson joined the starting group. The Sabercats wasted no time establishing their dominance, as they led 17-4 after the first quarter thanks to six points from Kelsey Johnson and five from Trisha Wright from off the bench.

Seven points from Callie Morrison and six from Kiersten Johnson helped MBU to match their 17-point total with another 17 in the second quarter, and going into halftime, the Sabercats were in full control of the game with a 34-12 lead.

The second half started with an uptick in scoring. Callie and Kelsey Johnson scored seven and six points, respectively, and the Sabercats combined for 26 points in the third quarter alone. An additional 10 points from each team in the fourth quarter capped the game off, as the Sabercats took home another resounding win to add to their collage this season.

Kiersten led the bench with 11 points while Callie led all scorers on the night with 14.
