WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Callie Morrison was in a different class for the month of January, and she has been awarded the Pizza Ranch Student-Athlete of the Month Award - an award given in-house by MBU in conjunction with Pizza Ranch, the Sabercats' premier sponsor.
Morrison capped the month off by putting up 80 points in three games, which included a career-high 37 points against North Central University and another 30 against Faith Baptist. All in all, the sophomore guard averaged a team-best 18 points per game in the nine-game run, adding 6.6 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.
The sophomore from Jefferson, Wisconsin has led a noteworthy season for the Blue and Gold, as they went 8-1 in January and now sit at 14-2 for the 2019-20 season.
