WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Sabercats turned in a massive win tonight, dropping 81 points to down Mount Mary 81-25.

Multiple players set career-highs in the win, led by Katelyn Morrison's first career double-double.

STORY

The Sabercats emerged with their strongest start of the season, jumping out to a 15-10 lead before the first quarter horn could sound. Callie Morrison led the charge with 11 points in just the opening quarter, leading Maranatha to a 19-13 lead to end the first. Entering the second quarter, Aubrey Secor came off the bench and drained her first career field goal on the home floor en route to a career-high seven points. Behind her strong offensive showing off the bench and Callie's continued dominance, the Sabercats went into the break with a comfortable 34-16 lead.

The offense only improved in the second half, dropping a strong 23 points in the third quarter, only to outscore themselves in the fourth with 24 points. Kyria Teachout led the charge with 14 points, all scored in the second half. The defense also stood tall as Sarah Rogers grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds, followed by Katelyn Morrison, who nabbed a career-high 12 rebounds in her first career double-double. By the final buzzer, the Sabercats walked away with a massive 81-25 win, improving to four wins on the year.
