Callie named January Student-Athlete of the Month
WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Callie Morrison's performances in January were a step above solid, and the senior has earned the Pizza Ranch Student-Athlete of the Month Award - an in-house award from Maranatha Athletics.
Morrison played in all seven games and averaged 23.6 points per game, putting up 20 games in all but one, and even then she registered 19. For good measure, the Jefferson, Wisconsin native added 8.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while shooting at a clip of 47.3 percent from the floor and 45 percent from downtown.
Morrison recently passed the 1,500 career-points mark last week and is looking to build momentum as the team wraps up regular-season games this weekend.
