Women's North Region Tournament Seedings Announced

WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The field for the 2021-22 NCCAA DII North Region Women's Basketball Tournament has been set, and the Sabercats have been given the #4 seed as they host the six-team tournament.

Maranatha will face #5 Central Christian College of the Bible at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, with a matchup against #1 Emmaus Bible in Friday's semifinal on the line.

The tournament is set for Thursday-Saturday, February 24-26 on the Maranatha campus, with the winner advancing to the 2022 NCCAA DII Men's Basketball National Tournament, scheduled for March 10-12 in Joplin, Mo.

SEEDING, FORMAT, AND SCHEDULE

The tournament will be single elimination, with the top two seeds earning byes to the semifinal. Below is an overview of the field, with seedings based on the NCCAA Power Rating SystemWhile Providence University College did not meet the required minimum contests to be included in the power rankings, they were granted an exception for both schools as an allowance for cancellations due to COVID-19.
