WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Buena Vista Beavers scored early and often this afternoon, taking home a 6-0 win thanks to an early scoring spree.

The Sabercats are still winless on the season and will look to Saturday and a trip to Coe College for their first win of 2023.

STORY

Buena Vista looked threatening early on, as they scored four goals before the Sabercats could stop the bleeding in the first half. Two of the Beaver goals came from spectacular long shots, as the visitors brought the long-range weapons to cushion a 4-0 halftime lead.

This one was all about the Beavers, as the visitors put home two more goals in the second half to seal the win. Madyline Taylor did the most damage for BVU, scoring three goals and setting up one in the win.

At the other end of the field, Faith Dargy and Jocelyn Metcalf had shots on goals for the Sabercats, but their efforts were saved by Trisha Westphal in the Buena Vista net.
