Best in the Midwest

WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The NCCAA Midwest Region announced its all-region fall selections this past weekend, and 11 Sabercats have been voted as the best in the region by region participants.
Emily Johnson highlights the selections with her first career Regional Player of the Year honor, and the senior was one of eight Sabercats to earn NCCAA Midwest 1st-Team honors. Johnson's was her fourth career selection while almost everyone else on the list earned All-Region honors for the first time in their career.
The awards were determined by a vote of the regional coaches, and are highlighted below:
