THE LEAD

MANITOWOC, Wis. -- The Sabercats had an easy win over the Lakers of Silver Lake College tonight, winning in straight sets.

Claire Hansel led the Sabercats with 10 kills on the night. This was the second time this season that the Sabercats have swept Silver Lake. 

THE STORY

The Sabercats displayed some accurate swinging throughout the three-set excursion, as they registered less than 10 hitting errors in the match. Katie Bender led a hard-working defense with 17 digs, as the Sabercats limited Silver Lake to 20 kills on the night.

Madeline Suderman backed Hansel up with 9 kills on the night, while Karley Johnson (19 assists) and Kelsey Johnson (13 assists) proved their worth as setters.

At the net, the Sabercats were accurate as a unit, as they logged a combined .318 attack percentage to keep the Lakers on their heels.
