STORY

The Sabercats met with little resistance in their first match of the day. After allowing only 32 points over three sets, the Sabercats made relatively easy work of the Crusaders. Maranatha attacked at a clip of .354 as a team, as Claire Hansel and Caitrin Kemlo led the way with seven and six kills, respectively. Emily Johnson made things easy for the hitters with 23 assists in the match, consistently offering enticing passes.

Against Grace, the Sabercats had a more difficult test, as the Tigers managed to take more than 20 points in the opening two sets. All told, the Sabercats put in consistent hard work over the weekend, and they were ultimately rewarded with two straight-set wins.
