NCCAA National Invitational Preview
WATERTOWN, Wis. -- For the first time in 14 years, the NCCAA is hosting a Men's Volleyball National Invitational, and the Sabercats are eyeing success at the national stage.
The Sabercats (the youngest program in the field) are seeded #7 and are slated to compete in Pool B with #2 Campbellsville, #3 Trinity Christian (hosts), and #6 Bluefield College. In Pool A sits #1 Ottawa Arizona, #4 Greenville, #5 Judson, and #8 Brewton-Parker.
Here's a quick look at the Sabercats' matchups in Pool B:
#2 Campbellsville University (1.25 / 4 p.m.)
The Sabercats faced Campbellsville last year, suffering a three-set loss to the Tigers in a match played at Trinity Christian College. During the 2018 season, Campbellsville amassed an 8-2 record against teams that will compete at the 2019 National Invitational.
