One for Good Measure
WATERTOWN, Wis. -- After being honored by the Association of Division III Independents for his standout performances in April, Alex Causey has been named as the Pizza Ranch Student-Athlete of the Month - an in-house award from MBU.
The rookie shortstop just earned the AD3I award for the first time in program history for Maranatha Baseball, leading MBU with a .258 batting average. Causey racked up six RBI, four runs, four doubles, and a triple on the month.
The newcomer was in rhythm when the Sabercats beat Lincoln Christian on April 20, registering two RBI off two hits as the Sabercats won 17-5 on parents' day, April 20.
