WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Sabercats Men's Basketball Team has been seeded as the #1 team as they begin their title defense at the NCCAA North Region Tournament. The team will open postseason play in the semifinal, which is Friday night at 7:30 p.m. against the winner of #4 Emmaus Bible College and #5 Trinity Bible College.

The winner of Friday's semifinal will compete for the NCCAA North Region championship on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. All games will be played at Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa.

The winner of the 2019 North Regional Tournament will qualify for the NCCAA DII National Tournament, which will be held at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina March 7-9. The Sabercats made the trip south last year to take home a 6th-place finish, marking their best (and only) national performance since 2003.
