Regional Preview: Men's Soccer Seeded 4th

WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Sabercats Men's Soccer Team has been seeded as the #4 team for the upcoming NCCAA North Regional Tournament. The team will open postseason play Thursday at 3:00 p.m. against #5 Faith Baptist Bible College.

The winner of the MBU-FBBC game will take on the #1-seeded Providence University College Pilots at 3:00 p.m. Friday.

The winner of the 2018 North Regional Tournament will qualify for the NCCAA DII National Tournament, which will be held two weeks after regionals. The last time the Sabercats qualified for the NCCAA National Tournament was in 2014 when they won the national title.

Regionals Last Year: the Sabercats beat Faith Baptist, 1-0, in the semifinal match before falling by the same scoreline to Providence in the championship.
Regionals since 2008: under head coach Jeff Pill, the Sabercats have reached the regional championship four times, with their only title coming in 2008.
