Regional History

The regional title has eluded the Sabercats in recent years. In 2017, the Sabercats were denied the banner when Moody Bible Institute stormed back to win the title, 76-74, on the Sabercats' home floor. The title would have been the first for Maranatha since 2000.

In program history, Maranatha has won the title 8 times, including 5 consecutive championships from 1996-2000.

Since 2000, the best finish the Sabercats have recorded is second place. This year, the team will be looking to punch their first ticket to NCCAA Nationals since the turn of the millennium.
