Rankin Named AD3I Runner of the Week
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The Association of Division III Independents has named Cameron Rankin as the Men's Runner of the Week for the events of September 11-16, as was announced this morning by the AD3I.
Rankin, a junior from Zionsville, Indiana, ran a 31:18 8K at the Faith Invitational hosted by Faith Baptist Bible College last weekend. Rankin earned a second-place finish at the event and led the Sabercats to a first-place finish.
The junior had already qualified for NCCAA Nationals a week prior, and he will look to hone his time as the season finale approaches.
Rankin and the rest of the men's team will compete at Beloit College's Olde English Classic this weekend. The 8K race will start at 11 a.m.
