Bailey Named Pizza Hut Student-Athlete of the Month
WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Harmony Bailey had a standout month of April, as she reached two career milestones while setting the pace for Sabercats Softball. As a result, the sophomore has been named as the Pizza Hut student-athlete of the month.
Bailey was in the circle for the Sabercats' first win of the season, which came on Tuesday, April 24 against Silver Lake College. The Sabercats took away a 6-5 win in the opening game of the series, and Bailey added two hits and an RBI in that game for good measure.
All told for the month of April, Bailey registered a dozen hits, a double, a triple, and a home run. Bailey also had six RBI and a stolen base in what was certainly a productive month.
Bailey and the Sabercats will play their final game of the season today, as they take on Silver Lake College at 5 p.m. in a doubleheader.
