29 Sabercats Garner NCCAA Scholar-Athlete Honors
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- With the recent release of the spring scholar-athletes from the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA), Maranatha Baptist University has placed 29 student-athletes on the NCCAA Scholar-Athlete teams.
To qualify, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.40 (on a four-point scale). Nine of MBU's 10 intercollegiate sports were eligible for the award, as the NCCAA does not support scholar-athlete entries for Football.
Women's Soccer led the way by landing six student-athletes on the scholar-athlete lists, and Men's Soccer was a close second with five. A complete list of the qualifying student-athletes (along with their sport and major) is listed here:
