Morrison Earns NCCAA Weekly Award

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Katelyn Morrison racked up a career-high 30 points in a game on her pursuit of 1,000 career points, and the National Christian College Athletic Association has named the senior as the National Student-Athlete of the Week.
Morrison, a senior from Amberg, Wisconsin, hit the career-high in a thrilling 59-54 win at home against Mount Mary last Thursday, leading the Sabercats to a much-needed win - their first of 2023. Morrison shot 12-24 from the floor and 2-5 from downtown while notching 12 rebounds, and before that game, the senior put up 12 points and five boards in a 60-33 loss to Martin Luther College.
Morrison and the Sabercats continue their season next Tuesday with a 2:00 p.m. matchup against NCCAA North Region rivals, Faith Baptist.
