Moultrie Named Student-Athlete of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Caleb Moultrie put the team on his shoulders with the game on the line against Faith, and the National Christian College Athletic Association has named the senior as the National Student-Athlete of the Week.
Moultrie, a senior out of Richton Park, Illinois, silenced the Faith Baptist Bible College home fans Saturday night with a clutch three-pointer to beat the Sabercats' North Region rival in overtime, finishing an 88-86 win with 3.7 seconds on the clock to solidify a 2-0 weekend record.
The three-pointer gave Moultrie 24 points on the night, and he was at the front of the pack on the weekend, scoring 17 points in a 71-58 win over Calvary the previous night at the Faith Christmas Classic.
Moultrie's heroics gave the Sabercats their first two wins of the 2022-23 season, as they head into the Christmas break on a 2-0 streak.
