Fopma Named Student-Athlete of the Month

WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Jeremy Fopma set a record that will likely never be broken, and the senior has earned the Pizza Ranch Student-Athlete of the Month Award - an in-house award from Maranatha Athletics.
Fopma beat the field at NCCAA Nationals by 30 seconds to capture his fourth consecutive NCCAA National Title at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course in Joplin, Missouri. Fopma led the Sabercats to a third-place finish, and they finished an agonizing one point shy of national runners-up, Ozark Christian.
It was Fopma's final race as a collegiate runner - the final time he will represent Maranatha in the event.
