Nationals Field Finalized

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The field for the 2022 NCCAA DII Women's Volleyball National Tournament has been set, and the Sabercats have been given the #4 seed after qualifying for the tournament as the North Region Champions.
Maranatha will open play against #5 Toccoa Falls College before facing Johnson University-Florida (the tournament hosts) and the Southwest Champion, Manhattan Christian College. The Sabercats are the only North Region representative in the field, as four South Region teams, two Southwest Region teams, and one Mideast Region team make up the rest.
All matches will be played in Kissimmee, Florida, at the Kissimmee Civic Center, which was the site of last year's National Tournament.

SEEDING, FORMAT, AND SCHEDULE
The tournament holds two pools of four teams that play a round-robin format, and the top two teams from each pool will advance to the national semifinals.
Below is an overview of the field, with seedings based on the NCCAA Power Rating System. Per the Division II Women's Volleyball Handbook, the Selection Committee may review the seedings of teams within .750 power points of each other, which affected three teams in this year's tournament:

The winners of each pool will face the runner-up of the other pool for the national semifinals and have a chance to advance to the National Championship.
