Sabercats Take Down Eagles at Home
WATERTOWN, Wis. --- The Sabercats led the entire game and cruised to a 78-27 win over the Faith Baptist Bible College Eagles. Hanna Glaze notched 19 points to lead MBU as the Sabercats moved to 3-0 this season in NCCAA play.

How it Happened
- 1st Half
- The Sabercats went deep into their bench in the first half, as everyone saw the floor for three or more minutes in the first half.
- In the first quarter, the Sabercats dominated the tempo and were sharp with the ball to triple the Eagles' score after the first 10 minutes. The Sabercats punished the Eagles' turnovers and boasted good depth to take control of the game.
- Kelsey Johnson (eight points) and Hanna Glaze (seven points) led the way in the first quarter for the Sabercats, who led by 16 points after the opening 10 minutes. (24-8)
- The Eagles halted the Sabercats momentum in the early stages of the second quarter and pulled to within 12 points the Sabercats' lead, but MBU rallied late on in the second quarter to extend their lead to a plus-20 margin entering the locker room (16-39)
- Glaze continued her scoring to lead the Sabercats with 11 points at the half.
- 2nd Half
- Katie Bender joined Glaze to be on of the primary threats for the Sabercats in the third, and eventually posted a season-high 11 points on the day. Bender's seven-point third quarter was part of the Sabercats' best single-quarter showing, as the team posted 27 points to the Eagles' six.
- Going into the fourth quarter, it was apparent the rest of the game would be a formality, as the Sabercats had once again tripled the Eagles' score. (66-22)
- The fourth quarter saw a couple of "firsts", as Keri Lundquist and Kim Grogan registered their first collegiate points. Alyssa Wright got in on the action to score her first points of the 2016-17 season.
- After a straightforward final ten minutes that saw the Sabercats outscore the Eagles 12-5, the Sabercats took a commanding 78-27 win home to stay undefeated in NCCAA play.
- More than half of the Sabercats's points (41 total) came from the bench.
