WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Maranatha Athletic Department has released the 2021 Men's Soccer schedule, and an NCCAA-heavy schedule awaits the Blue and Gold for the 2021 season.
The Sabercats will play 7 NCCAA North Region contests and 9 total games against NCCAA opponents this year. That slate includes a home-and-home series with Emmaus Bible, Faith Baptist, and Moody Bible - a stretch of 6 games in the middle of the season.
Making headlines in NCCAA news this summer was North Central University's return to the NCCAA North Region. The Rams won the North Region title in 2016 and would go on to finish as the national runner-up. The Rams took a hiatus after the 2016 postseason and will look to mark their return to the region in style.
Calvary, Emmaus Bible, Faith Baptist, Moody Bible will challenge Maranatha for the North Region crown, and Providence University College is expected to return to NCCAA play after sitting out 2020 due to international travel bans.
