GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Grant Kirchner scored the opening goal and assisted the golden-goal game-winner last week, and the National Christian College Athletic Association has awarded him with the title of NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week.
Kirchner, a freshman out of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, scored a sublime opening goal against NCCAA DI opponents, Lincoln Christian, before notching the game-winning assist in sudden-death overtime.

This was the second time this season that Kirchner has had a hand in an overtime win, as he scored a game-winner in NCCAA North Region play against Faith Baptist in late September. Kirchner and the Sabercats are already preparing for the 2021 NCCAA North Region Tournament November 4-6. Regionals will be held at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa.
