Men's North Region Tournament Seedings Announced

WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The field for the 2021-22 NCCAA DII North Region Men's Basketball Tournament has been set, and the Sabercats have been given the #8 seed as they host the nine-team tournament.

Maranatha will face #9 Moody Bible Institute in a play-in game at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, with a matchup against #1 Trinity Bible in Thursday's first round on the line.

The tournament is set for Wednesday-Saturday, February 23-26 on the Maranatha campus, with the winner advancing to the 2022 NCCAA DII Men's Basketball National Tournament, scheduled for March 9-12 in Joplin, Mo.

SEEDING, FORMAT, AND SCHEDULE

The tournament will be single elimination, with the play-in game leading up to the first round. Below is an overview of the field, with seedings based on the NCCAA Power Rating System. While Providence University College and Moody Bible Institute both did not meet the required minimum contests to be included in the power rankings, they were granted an exception for both schools as an allowance for cancellations due to COVID-19.
