Four-Seed Framework
ANKENY, Iowa -- The Sabercats Men's Basketball team has earned the #4 seed for the 2021 NCCAA North Region Men's Basketball Tournament even after they held a 5-1 record against regional opponents during the regular season.
The NCCAA announced that the 2021 North Region Men's Basketball Tournament will be an eight-team, single-elimination format, with the winner advancing to the 2021 NCCAA DII National Tournament held March 11-13 at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri. Seedings are determined not on regional records but on the new NCCAA Power Rating System. The Sabercats open play at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, February 25 against #5 Central Christian College of the Bible.
The tournament will be held at Faith Baptist Bible College February 25-27, with the schedule as follows:
