Women's Soccer Game Cancelled

WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Tomorrow's Women's Soccer game against Viterbo University has been cancelled due to the Sabercats' short-handed squad.

Over the last few days of training and games, the team has sustained multiple injuries, and they are unable to field a team for the game.

"We are down to fewer than 11 fully healthy players," said Head Coach Jeff Pill after today's training session. "With Zach [Sweatman] and Rob [Thompson]'s council, we all agreed that for the long-term health of the players, we need to cancel the game tomorrow and focus on rehab. Just to engage fully in the rehab process in order to return to full health and head into the end of the season with a fully healthy team."

The team is slated to play two more regular-season games: at Viterbo on October 22 and at home against Great Lakes on October 31. Find details for those games at mbusabercats.com/schedule.
