GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Callie Morrison out-scored every other student-athlete at Nationals, and the National Christian College Athletic Association has named her as the Division II Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week.

The junior guard was a force at Nationals, averaging 25.3 points per game - the highest mark of anyone at the tournament. Morrison scored 34 points against the hosts, Ozark Christian, and followed that up with a 31-point performance in the National 5th-Place Game against Barclay.

She led Maranatha to a 5th-place finish in the process.

Morrison earned 1st-Team North Region honors and followed that up with her third career All-American selection. She had a team-high 17.6 points on 40 percent shooting for the season and compiled 8.3 rebounds per game. Morrison topped the team charts in points per game, assists (4.8/game), and steals (2.9/game).

This is the fourth time this season that Morrison has earned the honor, making her the most-frequent winner of the award for all of Division II Women's Basketball this season.
